On September 3, Studio Classroom and Chang Jung Christian University signed a strategic cooperation agreement to help the university become an international, bilingual institution, and raise the level of English language teaching at the university.
Chang Jung University President Lee Yuanlung, Vice President Sun Huimin, Liberal Arts Department Chair Qiu Jingya, and International Exchange and Cross-Strait Affairs Director Lee Minyu visited Studio Classroom headquarters for the signing ceremony and met with Studio Classroom Founder Dr. Doris Brougham.
President Lee shared that he listened to Studio Classroom’s radio programs for over 30 years, and was very excited to meet Dr. Brougham in-person.
Studio Classroom Executive Director Daniel Hsieh expressed he was happily surprised when he heard Chang Jung University has been working in English education for underprivileged kids in rural areas, as this is a passion of Dr. Brougham. In 2014, Studio Classroom started a rural kids’ English education project which continues to expand. He looked forward to working together with the university in helping kids in rural areas learn English. Studio Classroom Business General Manager Joseph Tsai expressed that both Studio Classroom and Chang Jung University have much experience in English e-products, and there were many opportunities for cooperation in this area as well.
