Database Administrator (DBA) ( Taipei, Taiwan )

¡PResponsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system
¡PResponsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades
¡PTo proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
¡PResponsible for problem escalation to Oracle Vendor and other third parties as appropriate
¡PPrepare documentation for database environment setup and administration

¡iRequirements¡j
¡PUniversity Degree in Computer Science or related field
¡PMinimum 2 years of experience in MySQL/Oracle Database Administration
¡PKnowledge and expertise in Unix-like systems
¡PProven experience in architecting, designing, deployment, and backup with MySQL Database and ORACLE Database
¡PPractical experience with SQL language
¡PPractical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
¡PPractical experience in data warehousing
¡PGood command of spoken and written English and Chinese
¡PA team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
