Kaohsiung, Southern Taiwan-- On December 10, ORTV held an outdoor concert by Love River, the largest river in Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan. Local church choirs sang Christmas carols with Heavenly Melody and Doris Brougham, Hazel Johansen, Rachel Sawatsky, and Steve Marth to an audience of over 1000. Special guests included Kaohsiung Mayor Chu-lan Yeh and Kaohsiung City Councilors. At the beginning of the program, Mayor Yeh and Doris lit up a Christmas tree to begin the festivities. We hope to partner with more cities in the future for special meetings.
