On September 24, Simon Hung and the Sunshine Singers joined Sun Yueh in a press conference for the 1919 Love Walks Campaign in Ximending, downtown Taipei. Wearing aboriginal clothing and big smiles, the Sunshine Singers sang ¡§Life Is a Gift¡¨ and ¡§Make Taiwan More Loveable¡¨. This is the first time the Sunshine Singers have participated in a press conference. Singer Rex Wee remarks, "It was a valuable experience. I never had I thought I'd perform at the heart of Ximending, a place of so many young people. God has a wonderful plan for the Sunshine Singers, and I pray that He will continue to use us and make our music a blessing.¡¨

The 1919 Campaign was established by Chinese Christians in 2003 to help raise money for the poor and homeless in Taiwan who have faced recent natural disasters or other difficulties. ¡§1919¡¨ literally means, ¡§want save, want save¡¨ in Chinese. It is the goal of the campaign to help those who are in great need. For those in Taiwan interested in participating, they can dial ¡§51919¡¨ on their cell phones to donate. We hope that more people will participate in helping the needy.
