Dr. Norm Cook, retired professor of missions
at Multnomah Bible College, visited Taiwan
with the Multnomah basketball team. The
team came to Taiwan to play a number of
basketball games and used that forum to
share the Gospel. They attended Friday Night
Live and shared their testimonies with the
students.
Dr. Cook was a missionary in Taiwan during
the 1950's and pioneered the concept of
sports evangelism. He has been a missionary
all over Asia, as well as helping organize
four Billy Graham crusades in the area.
A friend of Doris for over 40 years, Dr.
Cook and Doris used to minister to President
Chiang Kai Shek and his wife when Taiwan
was first founded!
