Advanced Magazine Wins Golden Tripod Award     We are happy to announce that ORTV's Advanced magazine has won this year's prestigious Golden Tripod Award in the ˇ§Language Learningˇ¨ category. Studio Classroom won this award last year. This year, five magazines, including Studio Classroom and Advanced, were nominated for this category, but it was Advanced that was singled out as the winner. The Golden Tripod Awards are Taiwan's annual publishing industry awards for outstanding achievements in magazine and book publishing. The golden tripod (known as a ˇ§dingˇ¨ in Chinese) symbolizes the power and authority of ancient China. Advanced editor Marcia Fry was very thankful for the award and says, ˇ§We have a hard-working team and everyone's efforts contributed to this award.ˇ¨ ˇ§Studio Classroom's series of magazines not only help the people of this country study English, but convey healthy values, an outlook on life,ˇ¨ said Simon Hung, who accepted the award. ˇ§This is what our founder, Doris, has insisted on all along.ˇ¨ Praise the Lord for this award, and we hope that this recognition will continue to help His work in Taiwan.
