Three loyal ORTV friends and co-workers
recently went to be with their Savior, leaving
behind godly examples of lives dedicated
to the Lord's work. All of them will be
greatly missed, but their spirit will always
be a part of the ORTV mission.

Bonnie Jepson, one of ORTV Founder, Doris
Brougham's family friends, had been involved
in ORTV from the beginning. She defined
the spirit of hospitality and love. Even
in her 80s, Bonnie was still teaching English
to Chinese speakers in the Seattle area
with her sister, Sarah Coleman.

In her own words, ¡§Life did begin
at 80!¡¨ Bonnie truly personified joy, kindness
and genuine caring. Even in hard times,
she trusted God in everything, so life was
¡§just wonderful¡¨!

Mr. Lin Fu Yin, the famous Taiwanese composer,
director and producer, also played a big
part in ORTV's ministry. He moved to Seattle,
Washington, over 20 years ago, but continued
to play a big part in Chinese Christian
music in Asia. He composed many of Heavenly
Melody's songs as well as and directed a
number of choirs. ORTV staff member Lillian
Wang was a member of his first children's
choir.. Mr. Lin also produced albums for
Taiwanese pop stars. Many people attended
his funeral in Seattle and an even larger
gathering joined the Taipei Memorial Service
on July 17th, celebrating the full life
he lived and his many contributions to music.

Nancy Tang, wife of Pastor Stanley Tang,
also went to be with the Lord July 18th
in Los Angeles, California. Nancy was one
of the first people to work with Doris in
Hualien in the 1950s. She and Stanley helped
with radio broadcasts and devoted their
lives to the gospel media ministry. Their
lives have touched many people all over
the world.
