ORTV/Studio
Classroom teachers traveled to
Yuli in Hualien County July 1-3 to conduct
an English camp for Taiwanese children.
The camp was held at the Mount Carmel
Presbyterian Church in cooperation with
local teachers and churches. Most of
the children were aboriginal kids from
native groups such as the Ami tribe.
Studio Classroom teachers led
the children in songs, games, and English
activities. Says teacher Liz Archer,
¡§It was a privilege to partner with
local churches to make a difference
in the lives of these kids.¡¨ Teachers
also shared their love and important
testimonies about how God has changed
their lives. Many of the children made
decisions to follow Christ.
Many aboriginal children haven't had
the same opportunities to learn English
as other Taiwanese children. Therefore,
ORTV views this as an important ministry
and outreach opportunity. ORTV will
continue to send teachers to work in
this area and do follow-up in the future.
Please continue to pray for this ministry
to aboriginal children in Taiwan.
