ORTV's Teachers and Choir Reach Out to Southern Taiwan   Studio Classroom and the Heavenly Melody Singers headed to southern Taiwan for a series of school rallies and events May 15-20. Junior and senior high school students in the cities of Kaohsiung and Tainan were treated to English activities, games, skits, and music, all based on the theme, ˇ§Be the Best You.ˇ¨ Heavenly Melody and Studio Classroom teachers Andrea Brodersen, Campbell Chang and Steve Marth visited 13 schools during their 5-day tour. Over 10,000 students were encouraged and challenged to ˇ§Be the Best You,ˇ¨ and 5,130 of those students asked to be followed up with more information about God and His plan for their lives. At the rallies, Heavenly Melody vocalist Eva Chiu presented a very clear message about ORTV's goals and missionˇXto help people learn English but also to share the love of Jesus Christ with the people of Taiwan. Andrea, Campbell and Steve provided wrap-up comments at each meeting. Andrea and Campbell shared real life examples of how they learned to stop worrying about trying to be someone that they were not, and rather focus on who they are in God and being the best person for Him and no one else. Campbell shares, ˇ§Our down island trip was a true blessing. God really put together a wonderful team. It was a true joy to meet the students and to see their faces light up with excitement while we shared our message with them. It is our hope that we were able to inspire those precious students not only to continue to study English, but also to continue to be the best that they can be. I praise God for the renewed perspective I received from the trip. It was great to see how our work here in Taipei really does impact lives in all parts of Taiwan.ˇ¨
