Joy
to the World Tour Ministers
to Thousands |

God
was definitely at work in
this year's down-island
Christmas tour!
The two-week tour of five
cities, 10 school rallies,
and seven evening performances
resulted in over 800 people
making a decision to accept
Christ as their personal
Savior. Over 2,000 attendees
also asked to be followed
up and receive more information
about God.

The theme for the tour was
"Joy to the World,"
and the Heavenly Melody
choir was joined by pianist
Huntley Brown, saxophonist
Met Francisco, and five
English teachers. The program
consisted of inspirational
Christmas songs, dances,
skits, instrumental music,
and a message sharing the
real meaning of Christmas.
Many faithful readers and
listeners of Let's Talk
in English, Studio
Classroom, and Advanced
were delighted to meet the
English teachers and Heavenly
Melody singers. "It
is always fun to talk to
the students face-to-face,"
said Hazel Johansen, who
has been on eight Christmas
tours.

The two final performances
were in Taipei at the International
Convention Center on December
12 and 13. The 3,200-seat
auditorium was packed both
nights, and the ORTV staff
were available to talk with
students and help collect
the spiritual response cards.
Much work was done behind
the scenes, too. It took
many technicians to pull
off the large-scale musical
performances, and the crew
worked very long hours to
help the program run smoothly.

If you're in Taiwan and
if you missed the live performance,
the program will be aired
on GOOD TV on December 21
at 3:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
