On
Saturday, November 22nd, ORTV held a
grand opening ceremony for its new Banciao
branch office. ORTV's Heavenly Melody
choir performed at the ceremony, and
several ORTV teachers and staff members
were there to chat with Studio Classroom
students.
Rented from a Banciao-area church, the
1500 square-foot (over 40 ping) space
includes ORTV's largest bookstore to
date. The grand opening ceremony was
held in the church's auditorium. ORTV
plans to partner with the Banciao church
for upcoming rallies and/or Bible studies.
Caleb Hsieh, who is in charge of all
three of ORTV's Taipei-area bookstores,
said the grand opening was a great success.
"We thank God for giving us such
a nice space to use," he said.
ORTV director Simon Hung said that the
grand opening of the new bookstore,
and the new relationship with a local
church, is a great opportunity to reach
people living in the western side of
Taipei county. "We look forward
to working with this church to reach
the Banciao area with God's Word."
