Learning English Can Be Fun!   An excited team of five ORTV English teachers flew south to Tainan November 5-7. Their purpose was to visit schools and conduct English rallies for the students. Altogether, the team of Liz Archer, Steve Marth, Hazel Johansen, and Matt and Rachel Sawatzky, ministered to over 2000 students in five schools. They used skits, contests, games, songs, and motivational talks to remind the students that learning English can be fun! Steve and Liz also presented a demonstration English lesson to some teachers who use our magazine in their classrooms. Many students showed their appreciation to the teachers by sticking around after the rallies to talk to them and take pictures. Wilma Tan and Nancy Besson, who are based in the Tainan office, made sure that the rally team experienced a bit of local culture during their stay. The group enjoyed authentic Tainan cuisine at the restaurants they visited.
