To support the government’s efforts for Bilingual Taiwan 2030, Studio Classroom held four professional development workshops in Taipei and Taichung for elementary and junior high school teachers in the past two weeks. This is part of Studio Classroom’s cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The topic of the workshops was how to use games in the classroom to help students build confidence in speaking English through games that can be played in only ten minutes. The workshops were highly interactive. Studio Classroom teachers led the teachers through some of our best games and walked the teachers through adapting or creating their own games. Over 275 teachers attended the workshops and gave very positive feedback. We will hold another round of workshops in Northern and Southern Taiwan in spring 2023.
